Assured buyback
VinFast promises to buy your car back at a set share of its ex-showroom price:

For retail purchases made between 1 February and 31 December 2026 that are registered for the programme. The car must be in good condition, with no accident, battery, structural, flood or fire damage, and reported limits include up to 20,000 km a year. VinFast inspects the car before buying it back. Charging
VinFast owners charge free at V-Green stations until 31 March 2029. That covers new and existing owners, private and commercial.
V-Green is also building chargers at HPCL fuel stations across India. At home, most owners charge overnight from a dedicated charging point at their parking spot. We'll help you plan yours, including what your housing society or RWA usually asks for.
DC fast charging takes the battery from 10% to 70% in about 25 minutes (VF 6), 24–28 minutes (VF 7) or 30 minutes (VF MPV 7).
Delhi EV Policy 2026
Zero road tax. Zero registration fee.
Delhi's EV Policy 2026 took effect on 1 July 2026 and runs until 31 March 2030.
- No road tax and no registration fee on electric cars priced up to ₹30 lakh. Every VinFast model qualifies.
- A ₹1 lakh incentive when you scrap an old vehicle and buy a new EV, subject to eligibility.
- During pollution emergencies, older petrol and diesel cars can be kept off Delhi roads. Electric cars are not affected.

What you don't pay in Delhi
On a petrol or diesel car at the same price, road tax alone can run into lakhs. With a VinFast registered in Delhi, it's zero.

Ownership questions
Is VinFast safe enough for my family?
The VF 6 and VF 7 both earned five stars in Bharat NCAP crash tests in January 2026, for adult and child occupants, and come with seven airbags as standard. The VF MPV 7 has four airbags, electronic stability control and ISOFIX child-seat mounts; it has not been crash-tested by Bharat NCAP yet.
Does Delhi charge road tax on electric cars?
No. Under Delhi's EV Policy 2026, electric cars priced up to ₹30 lakh pay no road tax and no registration fee until 31 March 2030. Every VinFast model qualifies. Buying in Faridabad? Haryana's rules differ, so ask us for the on-road price.
Can I charge at home if I live in an apartment or housing society?
Most owners charge overnight from a dedicated charging point at their parking spot. We'll help you plan a home charger and talk you through what your society or RWA usually needs. On the road, VinFast owners charge free at V-Green stations until 31 March 2029.
How far will it really go on a charge?
ARAI-certified range is 438–532 km for the VF 7, 463–468 km for the VF 6 and 517 km for the VF MPV 7. Real-world range is lower and depends on speed, AC use and traffic. For a family driving 40–50 km a day in the city, that usually means about a week between full charges.
What if I want to sell the car later?
VinFast's assured buyback promises 75% of the ex-showroom price after two years, 70% after three, 65% after four and 55% after five. It applies to retail purchases made between 1 February and 31 December 2026 that are registered for the programme, and the car must be in good condition with no accident, battery or structural damage. What warranty do I get?
VF 7: 10 years or 2 lakh km on the car and the battery. VF 6: 7 years on the car, and 10 years or 2 lakh km on the battery. VF MPV 7: 7 years on the car and 10 years on the battery, plus 3 years of free maintenance.
