From ex-showroom to on-road price
The ex-showroom price is not what you pay. For a car registered in Delhi, the on-road price adds:
- Insurance for the first year. In our 30 September 2026 price list it ranged from about ₹0.8 lakh to ₹1.4 lakh, depending on the model.
- TCS (tax collected at source) of 1% on invoices above ₹10 lakh.
- Registration charges, HSRP number plates and FASTag. The road tax and registration fee are ₹0 for electric cars up to ₹30 lakh in Delhi.
- A 7.4 kW home charger with installation, listed at ₹47,000 in our Delhi on-road quote (an added cost, not free).
- Accessories you choose.

What would the EMI be?
An example only: with a 20% down payment, 9% interest and a five-year loan, the monthly EMI on the ex-showroom price of the cheapest variant of each model would be about:

What is the on-road price of the VinFast VF 7 in Delhi?
It depends on the variant, colour and insurance. The VF 7 starts at ₹22.99 lakh ex-showroom. Because road tax and registration are ₹0 for electric cars in Delhi, the on-road price is mostly the ex-showroom price plus insurance and TCS. Ask us for a written quote.
Is there road tax on electric cars in Delhi?
No. Electric cars up to ₹30 lakh pay no road tax and no registration fee in Delhi until 31 March 2030.
