Room for seven, in three real rows
The VF MPV 7 has a 2,840 mm wheelbase and is 4,740 mm long. The second row is a 60:40 bench that slides and reclines, with ISOFIX mounts for child seats. The third row splits 50:50, reclines, and has its own AC controls, vents and cup holders, so the back seat is not an afterthought in a Delhi summer.
Range and charging
A 60.13 kWh battery and a 204 PS front motor give an ARAI range of 517 km. DC fast charging takes the battery from 10% to 70% in about 30 minutes. VinFast owners charge free at V-Green stations until 31 March 2029.
Safety: what to know
The VF MPV 7 comes with four airbags, electronic stability control, roll-over mitigation, disc brakes on all four wheels and ISOFIX mounts. It has not yet been crash-tested by Bharat NCAP, so there is no star rating to quote. If a published five-star rating is your first requirement, the five-seat VF 7 and VF 6 both earned five stars for adults and children.
Running costs against a petrol or diesel 7-seater
Seven-seaters are usually the cars families drive most, so fuel is the biggest running cost. An electric car charged at home costs a fraction of petrol or diesel per kilometre. The fuel savings calculator lets you try your own daily distance and fuel price.
